Review of Draft Report and Seminars:
The draft report on Measurement and Reporting of Radon Exposures was considered by a Working Party. After implementing changes and corrections the report will be sent to Commissioners for final review and approval for publication will be solicited by mail ballot.
Prior to consideration of the draft a seminar was given to summarize the work of the report committee: this was given by Dr. Werner Hofmann, University of Salzburg, Austria

Other Business
An important part of the meeting was the election of Commissioners for the term 2014 to 2018. All eleven of the current Commissioners were re-elected. The Commission also elected four new members: María-Ester Brandan (Mexico), Roger Howell (USA), Thomas Mackie (USA), and Brian O’Sullivan (Canada). Hans Menzel and Paul DeLuca were re-elected Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively. Dan Jones was re-elected Secretary and Søren Bentzen re-elected Executive Director. For two long-serving members of ICRU (André Wambersie and Gordon Whitmore) this was their last meeting. Professor André Wambersie was named Honorary Chairman after 45 years of dedicated service. Dr. Gordon Whitmore was named Member Emeritus after 29 years of dedicated service. The Commission approved the appointment of Dr. David A. Schauer as the next Executive Secretary of the ICRU following the resignation of Patricia Russell in April of this year. Other business included discussions of ICRU finances, obligations of sponsors, report committee status, publication policies and schedules, new initiatives, future operation of ICRU, the selection of the 17th Gray Medal recipient, and plans for the 2015 Annual Meeting.
